The experience offers a great combination of relaxation, interest and hands-on fun at the Wedgwood Visitor Centre at the Wedgwood factory in Staffordshire
Your experience starts with coffee and shortbread on arrival and includes a self- guided tour of the Centre including the recently opened Wedgwood museum, where you can learn all about Josiah Wedgwood and his company, see some rare Museum pieces and watch the mastercraftspeople at work. Next, enjoy a three course lunch (served on Wedgwood china of course!) in the Ivyhouse restaurant. Then it's time to get your hands dirty - literally! Helped by a master craftsperson you'll throw a pot or paint a plate. When you've finished, Wedgwood will fire your pot and post it to your home, where it can take pride of place on your mantelpiece. You will also receive 2 pieces of jewellery hand made in the visitors centre (worth £50) and a special gifts of a Wedgwood Jasper tray. You'll also receive an exclusive gift and privilege card for future admissions to the Centre 10% off shopping in the Wedgwood shop and Boutique.
You are welcome to stay on until the Centre closes at 5pm.
