Ultimate Track Day Experience

Description

The ultimate track day lets a select group of just twelve people have the Prestwold Hall racetrack and a selection of supercars to themselves for a whole day! Each pair of participants has their own personal Association of Racing Driving Schools (ARDS) instructor to ensure there is as much track time as possible. Over the day you'll learn about new driving techniques such as speed control, ABS, handling, cornering techniques, skid control and the safest racing lines and best driving techniques. Turning you into safer and more capable driver who can fully exploit the power-demanding straights and high-speed corners of the new Prestwold Hall racetrack. The selection of cars available to you are only what you could imagine in a dream. The uncompromising yet 'ultra cool' Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 the breathtakingly Lamborghini Gallardo, the stunning Ferrari F430, and the awesome rear-engined, rear-driven Porsche 997. With only twelve drivers on the circuit, it is never crowded, giving everyone freedom to enjoy these car's awesome performance in total safety. So indulge yourself and live like a millionaire, if only for one day.

After your arrival you will be given an introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques. These will be followed by some familiarisation laps with an instructor driving the performance training car . Then it's time to get behind the wheel of some awesome cars. In the morning you will drive the Porsche 997, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 and the Lamborghini Gallardo. After a couple of hours driving you will stop for a lunch break which is included for the driver and one spectator. The afternoon session will then start with a classroom session and a de-brief on the morning's activities. Then you'll head off for the handling course on a purpose built rally stage in a Group N rally car. There will be a final driving session where you can put all the skills you've learnt over the day to the test in the Porsche 997, Ferrari F430, Aston Martin V8 Vantage or DB9 & the Lamborghini Gallardo. Your day will end with an individual driving certificate and assessment from your instructor and an award given to the Driver of the Day.

Your experience will last for approximately 6 hours.

Things you need to know

The minimum age for this experience is 17 years of age.
Maximum height 1.98m (6ft 6'') and minimum height 1.52m (5ft 0"). Max weight 108kg (17 stone). You will be asked to sign a disclaimer on the day, as you will not be covered for damage caused as a result of reckless and/or negligent driving.
A Full UK or European manual driving licence with no serious offences. You must be able to drive a manual transmission.This is for a voucher entitling the holder to any of the activities supplied by Activity Superstore up to the value stated

You and how many others

You and another participant will have your own ARDS instructor to help you all day.

Friends and family

You're welcome to bring spectators to come and watch.
