The rubbery "tongue" is disturbingly realistic, with a mottled, whitened surface, but contains a hidden plastic tube with a pacifier-style tip. When inserted between the lips, the tube can be blown through to inflate the tongue into an unnatural bubble. Packaged in a hygienic, sealed plastic blister.
